By Air
You can get to Harbour Island, Bahamas via commercial airlines or air charter flights into North Eleuthera Airport (ELH). If you are in the Bahamas, or at certain points in Florida, Cuba, Haiti, or Trinidad, you may book a flight on BahamasAir, or other international carriers like Pineapple Air or Aztec Airways.
Once at North Eleuthera (ELH) airport
Getting to Harbour Island is quick and easy. You exit the airport terminal and take a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the “Three Island” boat dock. This will cost approximately $5-$10 per person. Next, you will take a 10-minute water taxi ride to the island, (approximately $5-$10 per person). Land and water taxis are always available during the day. Water taxis will take you to the government (or main) dock on Harbour Island, and when you arrive, you can walk or take a taxi ride to Royal Palm Hotel, which is on the corner of Clarence and Dunmore Streets. We provide van transportation once you have reached the main dock. Please call our front desk in advance to have this accommodation scheduled for you before your stay. By Sea
If you are in the Bahamas, you can take the Bahamas Fast Ferries from various islands. For instance, if you travel from Nassau directly to Harbour Island, when you arrive at the government dock on Harbour Island you can walk or take a taxi to Royal Palm Hotel, which is on the corner of Clarence and Dunmore Streets.
Island Transportation
Once on Harbour Island, you may choose to rent a golf cart for on-island transportation. Most golf carts are available for $55 dollars per day.
